The objectives and measures of the updated equality and non-discrimination plan support the realization of our values and strategic goals.
We updated the HUS equality and non-discrimination plan for the years 2021–2022. In this update, we considered general personnel data and the data from the non-discrimination survey conducted in 2021. We reviewed our previous actions and goals and set new ones.
The equality and non-discrimination plan consists of three parts: the first part assesses the achievement of equality and non-discrimination based on various statistical data and indicators from the personnel survey; the second part assesses the achievement of the objectives and measures contained in the previous plan; and the last part presents the objectives and measures set for 2021–2022 and the monitoring plan.
Our values are Equality, Pioneership and Caring. Our strategic goal is that HUS is the best community for learning, research and meaningful work, that our personnel wellbeing is high and that we are a good environment in which to grow into a healthcare professional. The goals and actions in the equality and non-discrimination plan support attainment of these values and strategic goals. We defined supervisor work and leadership, personnel commitment and workload as areas for development in the plan.
Implementation of the equality and non-discrimination plan is monitored annually in the Personnel Commission. In this evaluation, we consider the actions taken and examine trends in indicators such as pay.
