MyCovidData service provides a certificate of a COVID-19 test result free of charge
Keywords:If you have received a negative COVID-19 test result from a test done at HUS, you can now download a certificate of the result online at MyCovidData.fi. The certificate is in English and can be downloaded to your mobile phone or printed as needed.
The certificate can be used as proof of a negative COVID-19 test result for essential travel, for example.
“COVID-19 test certificates have been requested especially by those for whom travelling abroad is unavoidable. The automated process reduces the pressure on health care services as people now have a self-service option. We’ve received an increasing amount of requests for these certificates now that several countries and travel operators have started to require them,” says Lasse Lehtonen, Director of Diagnostic Services at HUS.
The certificate states the user’s personal details, the test date and the test method. If necessary, the user can add their passport details to the certificate if required by the country of destination.
Using the service requires strong electronic identification with banking credentials or a mobile certificate. Acquiring the certificate on behalf of someone else, such as a child, will be made possible later. The service provides certificates for COVID-19 tests analyzed by the HUS Diagnostic Center for residents of Uusimaa and Kymenlaakso.
The service was first launched in Finnish on February 23, 2021 at the address Koronatietoni.fi, and was made available in English and Swedish later.
