In the Enhanced Outpatient Care Unit of the Hyvinkää region, we offer services to young people aged 13–17 living in the Järvenpää, Hyvinkää, Tuusula, Nurmijärvi, and Mäntsälä areas and in need of enhanced specialist medical care in adolescent psychiatry.
You need a referral from a physician to be admitted to adolescent psychiatry outpatient care. After processing the referral, we will refer you to enhanced outpatient care if necessary.
Our services focus on adolescent psychiatric evaluation, examination, crisis management, and consultation of cooperation partners. Our goal is to respond as quickly as possible to situations requiring specialist medical care, to determine the nature and urgency of your problem, and to refer you to either an adolescent psychiatric treatment clinic or other suitable treatment facility when necessary.
Our unit's activities include individual and family meetings, network meetings, crisis appointments, and consultation meetings.
We are required by law to communicate with your guardians and/or child protection services if your health is seriously compromised or if you are a danger to yourself or others.
Outpatient clinic visits are free of charge.
