In the Lohja Enhanced Adolescent Psychiatry Outpatient Care Unit, we offer enhanced adolescent psychiatric specialist medical care for young people aged 13–17 living in the areas of Lohja, Vihti, Karkkila, and Siuntio. Adolescent psychiatry outpatient care is offered based on a physician’s referral. After processing the referral, we will refer you to enhanced outpatient care if necessary.
Our services focus on adolescent psychiatric evaluation, examination, crisis management, and consultation of cooperation partners. Our goal is to react as quickly as possible to situations requiring specialist medical care and to determine the nature and urgency of your problem. If necessary, we will refer you for treatment either at our adolescent psychiatry outpatient clinic or another suitable treatment facility with your treatment plan or consultation response.
Our unit's activities include family meetings, network meetings, crisis visits, and consultation meetings. We also have the opportunity to meet you in your own growing environment if necessary.
We are required by law to communicate with your guardians and/or child protection services, if your health is seriously compromised or if you are a danger to yourself or others.
Appointments at our outpatient clinic are free of charge for you.
