In the Child Psychiatry Eating Disorder Unit, we treat children between the ages of 6 and 12 who have problems with eating. The reasons for seeking treatment may include weight loss, repeated binge eating, difficulty swallowing or selective eating.
We work in cooperation with the families. We meet with the child and the parents both together and separately. With parental consent, and when needed, we can also cooperate with the school, social services, and those who have previously treated the child.
For treatment at us, you will need a physician’s referral or a consultation request.
