In the Kirkkonummi X-ray unit, we perform plain X-ray examinations (bones, chest) without appointment. You can come in for imaging examinations when it best suits you.
The Kirkkonummi X-ray Unit is located in the Wellbeing Center. You don't need to register for the X-ray, instead the radiographer will pick you up from the waiting room for the examination.
If you are visually impaired, you can find the hospital porters’ desk opposite the main doors. The employee at the desk will guide you to the X-ray unit.
We do not have a patient lift, e.g., to transfer patients from a wheelchair to an examination table. List of our units with patient lifts.
We conduct examinations for customers of HUS hospitals and health centers in Helsinki and Uusimaa.
You are free to choose your X-ray location
Once you receive a referral to HUS for skeletal, chest, or dental X-ray examinations, you are free to choose the imaging unit where you go for the examinations. Most X-ray units do not require booking an appointment.
How do I prepare for examinations and where do I get the results?
Examinations always require a referral. See here for more information on preparing for and arriving to examinations, and on receiving the results.
