Tools to promote health are diligently used at HUS units. These tools are used for instance for running independent physical fitness campaigns and fitness checkups. According to the findings of the HUS health and wellbeing survey in 2019, nearly half of HUS employees exercise sufficiently for their health. The ‘HUS Wellbeing in everyday life’ coaching course began with physical fitness testing under the ‘Journey to good health’ campaign in a mobile testing station at Peijas Hospital on September 26, 2019. HUS collaborated with the Cities of Helsinki, Vantaa and Espoo to organize walking schools and campaigns during Mobility Week.
