Hospital chaplains, New Children's Hospital

The hospital chaplains offer guidance for children, adolescents, parents and the entire family. Also the grandparents can contact us. In addition to offering counseling, the chaplain’s duties also include prayer, baptisms and other religious ceremonies. 

The hospital chaplains are employees of the Evangelic Lutheran Church of Finland and have received specific training for this task. Conversations with the chaplain are always strictly confidential and held in a manner that respects the person’s religious beliefs.
