The x-ray unit is closed from June 21 to June 23, 2024. On Thursday, June 20, the x-ray unit is open according to Friday's opening hours.
In the Kouvola X-ray unit we perform plain X-ray examinations without appointment.
We perform computed tomography, mammography and ultrasound examinations with an appointment. The unit responsible for your care will book you an appointment for the examination.
We do not have a patient lift, e.g., to transfer patients from a wheelchair to an examination table. List of our units with patient lifts.
You are free to choose your X-ray location
Once you receive a referral to HUS for skeletal, chest, or dental X-ray examinations, you are free to choose the imaging unit where you go for the examinations. Most X-ray units do not require booking an appointment.
