To apply for a job, please submit your application through our electronic system. You can also enquire about open positions and job opportunities by phone, but the electronic system provides a secure platform for applicants to send their details to us. In other words, you will need to submit an application through the system sooner or later in the application process. Your details will remain in the system, so you can search for more than one job with the same details. Alternatively, you can modify the relevant details when you apply for different roles.
You do not need to enter information in some fields. However, we do need certain details so that we can hire new employees. The more information you provide, the better the recruiting unit will be able to compare applications and determine if they are the perfect match for you.
Practically all the information often found in CVs can be entered in the electronic system, which means that the applicant’s details can be easily retrieved from the system if they apply for a different job or when they are hired. This also makes it easier to compare candidates, for example, by allowing recruiters to view the applicants’ education information side-by-side.
You can log in to your applicant profile in our recruiting system (where you submitted your application) and withdraw your application there.
Once you have submitted your application for a role, you can no longer edit it. You can withdraw your application, and you can then apply for the same role again by signing in to the system with a different email address. Alternatively, you can add attachments to your application by sending them to rekrytointi@hus.fi by the application deadline.

Questions about the recruitment system
You can log in to your applicant profile in our recruiting system (where you submitted your application) and delete your applicant profile.
The applicant view is developed within the resources available to the system supplier. We value feedback and we would be happy to receive feedback on our job application systems and recruitment process.

To know more about how your application is progressing, you can contact the contact person listed on the job posting. We recommend taking a screenshot of the job posting so that you can find the contact person at all stages of the recruitment process.

Questions about internships at HUS
Students in secondary education can apply for internship at HUS through their schools. To learn more, please contact your teacher. University students book their internship through the Jobiili system.
Yes, but there is only a limited number of places available in specialist medical care. Apprenticeships are always negotiated and agreed on with the educational institution first. To enquire about apprenticeship opportunities, you can start by contacting your educational institution. If you are not studying at any educational institution yet, you can contact the unit where you would like to do your apprenticeship.
Those trained in medicine abroad can do the mandatory training required by Valvira in order to practice a health care profession in Finland by sending their contact details via email.
