We are experts in ICT solutions for health care. We are responsible for information system and communication technology services and IT equipment rentals.
Our customers include the HUS Group - the joint authority for Helsinki and Uusimaa, HUS Group's partners, subsidiaries and associates, municipalities, private health care operators, and authorities.
Our strengths include knowing the core operations of our customers and utilizing an extensive network of cooperation and partners.
We support our customers' core operations by providing expert, operating, maintenance, and support services in information technology:

We are responsible for maintaining the HUS information systems. Key systems include patient information systems, financial and personnel administration systems, and the systems for units providing support services.
We provide project management services and are responsible for architectural design in accordance with the HUS group architecture.
We develop new innovations and utilize the latest technologies, such as robotics and artificial intelligence. We also have strong expertise in developing various software products and digital services in cooperation with IT service providers and other HUS professionals. Examples of services developed in cooperation during 2020:
- Coronabot for citizens.
- A service guidance bot for patients.
- Control bot for sampling.
- Appointment booking for drive-in sampling.
- Coronavirus software for monitoring and tracking infections.
Our basic information technology services, such as telecommunications network, communication technology, various terminals and servers enable the use of information systems, office applications, email and the Internet, as well as other IT services.
Our support services for IT use, named after the old tradition as IT support, serves our customers in IT service or support requests 24/7.
Our customers are served by designated key account managers who are responsible for identifying and resolving the information technology needs of the units in cooperation with our other IT experts.
Our experts in application and customer support services are responsible for providing support for common systems, such as reporting, quality control, system testing, and organizing maintenance training.
We are responsible for organizing basic information technology training and guiding the use and utilization of information systems. In particular, we invest in assisting in the use of information systems, so that the quality and integrity of the data is retained from the beginning of the process or treatment chain all the way through to reporting. In cooperation with regional and national actors, we also provide support services for new national information system services.
In the organization of IT training and support services, we have concluded agreements with partners who have been in the field for a long time.
Under the guidance the Development Director at HUS, we develop and manage information system services and various projects.
One of the key development projects for 2018–2020 is the introduction of the new Apotti patient information system in HUS. The new system is needed to streamline cooperation between primary health care, social services, and specialist medical care in patient care. Our task is to ensure that the migration from the current system to the new one happens seamlessly.
We are responsible for training new users when the entire HUS has switched to using the Apotti system. In addition, we advise and instruct system users in cooperation with Apotti Oy when it is updated and its methods of use change.
The collection of development proposals is an integral part of the dialogue with system users. It enables the system to be developed to match the wishes of users.
The development work is also carried out in cooperation with other parties, such as university hospitals and universities, as well as regional, national and international cooperation projects.
